"Gash"
Friday 11th october, S. Matteo Theater,  9.15 pm

Gash” is a tear that surprises, that tears through patterns and preconceptions.

It is uncompromising, unfiltered, without mannerisms.

It is Dance.

From another point of view.

PROGRAM

KAMA - Gianni Notarnicola

The name to the solo “KAMA” came from a misunderstanding - a wrong translation of the word “how” in the hebrew language.
It plays with behaviours , stereotypes , how to do, how to speak and how to move and how much we do all of the above.
The character is in an overflow of feelings that blends two identities coexisting in the same body, one is exposing, celebrating and
seducing to the world and the other is unspoken, lonely and in pain.
KAMA” lights the awareness to self vulnerability and emphasises how easily we shield ourselves with appearances in society.

WAMI - Nunzia Picciallo

In WAMI, the author and performer, explores a physicality that breaks away from the memory of binary dance and form, in order to  free herself from normative standards and challenge the concept of the social construct of gender.

B.O.A.T.S. - Billy Barry e Gianni Notarnicola

B.O.A.T.S (based on a true story)” is about a friendship and real events inside of that friendship that both have and haven’t happened yet. The moments that haven’t happened technically have because they take place inside of this work. It’s an opportunity to remember and rediscover while we continue growing together. We visit the absurd moments, the tender, the silly, the intense, and the many other feelings a budding friendship stirs up. It’s about what happens when two
souls collide and find the sweet spot of what it means to care, take care of and be cared for.
